Cades Cove Loop Road and others closed due to flooding

This alert has been posted on the Smokies website:

A slow moving storm is causing flooding in the park. Several park roads are closed. Hikers should exercise caution in the backcountry due to swollen streams and rivers.

The following roads are closed:



• Cades Cove Loop Road due to flooding

• Upper Tremont Road due to flooding

• Forge Creek Road

• Cataloochee Entrance Road
